Dr Bethan Bide. Bethan is Lecturer in Design and Cultural Theory at the University of Leeds and a fashion historian interested in everyday dress in the 20th century. Bethan will be presenting on current research into sensory experiences of teenage fashion consumption from the 1940s-1970s.

Bethan will speak about her work for ten minutes before we open up to a group discussion in which everyone is invited to ask questions, offer comments, and suggest ideas. The work-in-progress paper will be circulated in advance to registered attendees.
