The Fashion Research Network (FRN) is a forum for dialogue, collaboration, debate and a platform to showcase the work of fashion and dress researchers. We welcome opportunities to collaborate with individuals, groups and academic and cultural institutions and to showcase the work of our peers. RN invites fashion researchers to propose events including but not limited to:

• Exhibition tours

• Reading groups

• Talks

• Book launches

• Seminars

• Symposia and conferences

WRITING

The FRN website presents critical reviews of activities and research-led design work, comments on issues relating to dress and the fashion industry, and original research in the fields of fashion design, business, history, and visual culture. FRN seeks to foster a common language that is critical and rethinks accepted norms, grounded in the idea that the study of fashion is fundamentally interdisciplinary. We eagerly encourage writing on fashion and dress-related topics, which may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Short Articles (up to 1000 words)

• Book and exhibition Reviews

• Photo essays
